I wanted to write a post about balance,and how important it is today for our mind and body.作为一个营养学家，人们通常认为我100%吃得健康，每天晚上10点前，一直锻炼身体，睡觉。I can assure you this is not true!I am human,just like the rest of you and I do indulge in things which are not 100% healthy every single week,我每周都有1到2天的休息时间！我相信平衡对身心都至关重要。
Living a healthy lifestyle is extremely important to me,但这是你做的80%的计数，不是你有时做的。如果你想过一种健康的生活，你不应该觉得这是全部或全部。没有人是完美的,I know many health enthusiasts such as nutritionists,naturopaths,personal trainers that have their ‘off' days,and indulge in food that's not incredibly nourishing or skip a workout because they are just not in the mood.
It's so important that you give your mind and body a break to provide balance in your lifestyle.I encourage this with my clients as well.What you need to remember is moderation!Yes,chocolate cake,ice cream,披萨对你的身体不好，但对你的头脑绝对有好处……适度！Starving and depriving yourself of these foods often leads to cravings and binging down the track.Life is to be enjoyed.If you are clean with your diet 80% of the time,then 20% of the time indulge in your favourite foods and drinks,I encourage you to enjoy every single mouthful!Remember,食物丰富，这不会是你最后一次吃那顿饭，或者喝那杯。
我肯定有”cheat"每周吃饭，我不会为此感到内疚。I actually look forward to the meals more.Some of my favourite cheat meals are Thai takeaways,和我的未婚夫去一家日本餐馆，点了卡拉奇鸡或是加了美味的白米饭炒的Katsu鸡，dumplings,ice-cream,I enjoy a couple glasses of wine 1-2 nights each week,or in summer I enjoy a nice cold beer in the afternoon with pizza and fries.我确实把这些食物限制在每周两次，每次三次，otherwise I start to feel sluggish.I enjoy and prefer to limit these foods as I feel a lot healthier and more energized from eating nourishing foods,so the choice is yours!Unhealthy foods are good for the soul,and they are much more satisfying when you don't consume them daily (in my opinion!）
Next time you have a"作弊餐别自暴自弃，remember that everything is OK in moderation.Living a healthy lifestyle includes taking care of your happiness,放弃你最喜欢的东西，花时间恢复你的头脑，body and soul.我鼓励你在生活中找到平衡！善待自己，life is to be enjoyed,not restricted!Find your happy balance,do what makes YOU feel good!！
